What is Freemasonry?
No doubt you are wondering what kind of an organization
Freemasonry is. First, we would like to assure you that
Freemasonry is a moral institution. The Masonic fraternity
is the oldest and grandest secular fraternity in history, which
dates back more than three centuries. A society of men concerned
with moral and spiritual values. Freemasonry is founded on the
three great principles of Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth, it aims
to bring together men of goodwill, regardless of background and differences.
All men of age and all faiths who are law-abiding, of good character,
and who acknowledge a belief in deity can become a member. To become a
Freemason is quite simple, to be one ask one.
The first qualification for becoming a Freemason is that you have decided
to join of your own free will, not for any personal gain, or the reason of
idle curiosity.
The essential qualification to be admitted is that you have a belief in a Supreme Being.
It is the intention of a Masonic Lodge that its members be so
impressed with the lessons taught that their lives will be a
mirror through which is reflected the beautiful lessons of
Freemasonry. Freemasonry is a way of life that can be meaningful
and the fulfillment of God's design for us here on earth..
